Privacy Policy
Effective October 13, 2026
David Cartier Media ("DCM", "we", "us") is a photo and video production company based in Atlanta, Georgia. This policy explains what personal information we collect through davidcartiermedia.com and our client pages, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Information you send us. When you fill out a form on this site (contact, free social media audit, client onboarding, or feedback and approval), we receive what you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number, business name, website or social handles, budget, and your message.
- Newsletter sign-ups. If you tick "Sign up for news and updates," we keep your email address to send occasional updates. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe.
- Usage information. Like most websites, we automatically receive basic technical information when you visit, such as your browser type, device, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry, prepare a requested audit or proposal, and provide the services you hire us for.
- To run client projects: scheduling shoots, delivering files, recording approvals, and invoicing.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it.
- To protect the site from spam and abuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Who processes it for us
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed for them to do that work. These fall into the following categories:
- Website hosting and form handling
- Business email
- Website analytics and spam protection
- Invoicing, contracts and payment processing. Payment card details are entered on our payment processor's secure pages; we never see or store your full card number.
- Appointment scheduling
- File delivery and photo galleries
Each provider handles information under its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses cookies and similar technologies that keep the site working and help us measure traffic through Google Analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings and the cookie banner on this site. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Do Not Track. Our site does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, because there is no common industry standard for them.
Client pages
Clients receive a private, password-protected page. Information on that page, and anything submitted through its forms, is used only to deliver that client's project. Please keep your page password private and let us know if someone on your team should lose access.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and client project information for the life of the engagement plus a reasonable period afterward for records, accounting, and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to records we are required to keep.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or unsubscribe from updates. Email contact@davidcartiermedia.com and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them.
Security
We use reputable providers, encrypted connections (HTTPS), password-protected client pages, and restricted access to our business accounts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
This site is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page and update the effective date above.
